The Trainer's Edge — TAPD
Training & Assessment Professional Development

Master the craft. Not just the compliance.

Exceptional training and facilitation is about far more than meeting a standard, completing the paperwork or delivering the content.

The Trainer's Edge is for trainers, assessors and facilitators who want to continually improve their practice, strengthen their professional judgement and create better learning experiences.

Hosted by Donna Moulds, a qualified Trainer and Assessor with more than 23 years in the field, including 13 years as an RTO CEO and experience leading vocational education and training within a maximum-security correctional facility, the podcast brings practical experience to the conversations that matter in training and assessment.

We explore training design, facilitation, learner engagement, assessment, industry currency, technology and AI, professional judgement, continuous improvement and the skills that separate simply delivering training from mastering the craft.

You'll be challenged to look beyond “We've always done it this way”, critically examine your own practice and keep developing as the profession evolves.

Whether you're beginning your journey in VET, an experienced trainer or assessor, or responsible for developing others, The Trainer's Edge is about becoming better at what you do intentionally.

Because compliance might set the standard.
Your craft determines the impact.
